Adizes Graduate School (AGS) - Because we, in our world, function in the context of enterprise and organizations, transformation of our businesses and institutions is essential to socio-cultural evolution and sustainability. AGS offers unique, flexible, interdisciplinary degree programs (Masters and PhD online, Clinical tracks) with a focus on understanding change and transformation. Programs provide an opportunity for integral study in terms of change management, sustainability, complexity, leadership, organizational management and managing change in complex systems. The online degrees attract consulting professionals, change agents and leaders in the profit and nonprofit sectors interested in sustainability and cross-disciplinary applications, including core courses in Adizes methodology and Spiral Dynamics. The online PhD degree program is open to students holding a Masters Degree, 30 units of graduate credit, or a Bachelors (extra coursework required). The online PhD degree requires nine courses plus three terms of supervised writing. Faculty experienced in distance education encourage an interactive forum and a Socratic form of inquiry in collegial groups of 3-10 participants. 

The Capstone Project enables doctoral degree candidates to develop their own model for managing change in their own unique context through the analysis and critical examination of existing literature. Students will focus on qualitative methods and integrate multiple theories on change and complexity into a new functional management design. They will critique Adizes methods and other management applications, such as spiral dynamics, in context.

Systems Thinking: Modeling Complexity ...taught by Dr. Bruce LaRue, co-author of Synthesizing Higher Education and Corporate Learning Strategies, with Stephanie Galindo, M.Ed. (2009) in The Handbook of Online Learning (Rudestam and Schoenholtz-Read. Eds. 2nd Edition)

The Masters Degree requires 10 courses plus a thesis or written examination. Alternately, students holding a Bachelors Degree can enroll in a dual-track online Doctorate with or without completing a Masters Thesis or Exam. A total of 14 classes are required for the dual-track.
